class 10 the Rich Fruit Cake
Made as an 11" Rich fruit cake from Sally's guarded recipe, it was juged
runner up in its class

After winning both classes that Sally entered at the regional heat levels

On Monday October the 2nd the completed cakes representing the south west of england are transported along with Chris and Sally to Highgrove House for the final of the BBC Great British Village show, Sally is introduced to HRH The Prince of Wales and Camilla Parker Bowls and after the judging recives runner up awards in both catogories.

The cake is made to display the many facets of village show competion the top has a vase of flowers for the flower show and vegtables to represent the competitive growers. the sides of the cake represent views from inside of the marquet out on to the many other features of the show.
